Staying within the boundaries of that which society calls sane may not
be living up to your potential. How can you realize yourself and your
life's price when you watch your own every move afraid to be seen by
others as different, crazy or evil? Do you believe in what you're told
or do you think for yourself? And when you know what you want do you
dare to let it manifest?
I'm labeled a schizophrenic. A crazy
person. Yet what I see in my mind today is so much more true, closer to
heart, revolutionairy, evolved and productive than the thoughts I had
when I was still considered sane. Sure sometimes my mind can really
torment me, and some thoughts I really wish I could kill dead, but i've
found that as long as I stay in control the thoughts are not dangerous. I
reach new understanding and have visions that I value.
There are
ups and downs to insanity. You can loose yourself completely and never
find your way back. You can think things that make you want to kill
yourself. But you can also see past the norms and find a vast universe
abundant with knowledge and all that you long for and things you didn't
even know you wanted. The only thing being normal is good for is making a
life for yourself that is normal. Working a normal job that pays enough
for you to do normal things. If what you want is not normal but vast
riches, self-realization and happiness you need to think for yourself,
and do what you need to do to aquire those things.
People judge
what is different from themselves. Free thinking individuals scare
indoctrinated and conservative individuals. People will go to extremes
to protect their little bubble of correctness and safety. If they see in
you something that scares them they will lock you up, sedate you and
try to make you comform. So if you want to flirt with madness, the
unknown and realize more of yourself keep it to yourself. Let the sheep
be sheep. It feels kind of good when you encounter a religious or stupid
person and see how much further you've come than them. Do what you
desire, grow and know that if you have to you can always pretend.
